HEAD COACH DUFFY
Jack Duffy grew up in North Branford, CT. He played high school hockey at North Branford High School and Choate, then college hockey at Yale, named captain in 1993 and was a 1st team All-American that same year. After college, Jack played three years in the International Hockey League for the Las Vegas Thunder and the Chicago Wolves. He has been a coach at the Greenwich Skating Club since 1996, teaching his love of hockey to kids. Former president of the Greenwich Skating Club and Head Coach to the Greenwich Varsity Boys Ice Hockey Team.
COACH MARZULLO
Jim Marzullo grew up in Greenwich CT and has been a life-long hockey fan. He started his coaching career with the Dorothy Hamill house league and from there moved to the Greenwich Panthers coaching his daughter for several years. He currently coaches youth hockey at Greenwich Skating Club, where he has coached for the past 6 years, and is the Head JV Coach and Assistant Varsity Coach in charge of player development for Greenwich High School.
COACH RICH
Neal Rich was born and raised in Stamford and started playing hockey at seven years old and has never stopped. He was a member of the 2001 Stamford High School D1 State Championship team and the 2002 D1 FCIAC Championship team. After trying out for the AHL where an injury ended his playing career, he began coaching and has been doing so ever since.
COACH MCGROARTY
Born in NY, moved to Stamford as a kid and played for Rye Rangers & Stamford Sharks programs. Trinity Catholic High & Senior Team Captain. Played hockey for UMass and Eastern CT State University where he graduated in 2010 and was lucky enough to play hockey in US, Canada, & Sweden. Worked in Hartford, Boston & Los Angeles with Oracle with elite level hockey a mainstay, helping continue to build lifelong connections. Moved back to CT with his wife Katie in 2019, bought a home in Stamford with their dog Pickles. When not at the rink, he’s at Sterling Farms or The Griff polishing his golf game.
COACH MADDEN
Shea started his love of all things hockey at the age of 5. He loved skating, shooting and the competitiveness of the sport as a defensive player. He began playing with the Greenwich Blues, and from there played on The Stamford Sharks, CT Jr Whalers, and the CT Junior Rangers before playing for Greenwich High School his Junior year. He served as Captain his Senior year. Shea loves everything about the sport; playing, watching, assistant coaching, mentoring and creating lifelong friendships.
