HEAD COACH RICH
Neal Rich grew up in Stamford, CT and started hockey at age 7. He won the Division 1 FCIAC champion as a player for Stamford High School. Neal started coaching in 2014. Since then, Neal has been a Head Coach at every age level of youth hockey as well as Junior Varsity for Greenwich High. Neal is the Greenwich Cardinals Youth Hockey Mite Program Director and Head Coach, Bantam Head Coach and the Skill Development Director. Neal is also the Director of the Volunteer Program between GCYHA and GHS, allowing student-athletes to participate as coaches in training, which he established in 2020. As Director of Operations for Connecticut United, a spring hockey development camp, Neal facilitates an internship program exclusive to GHS Hockey players where they participate in maintaining and running the day to day operations of a small business. As the new Head Coach for Varsity, Neal has 3 rules that best exemplify his philosophy and love for the game; Do your best, be prepared and have fun.
COACH MARZULLO
Jim Marzullo grew up in Greenwich CT and has been a life-long hockey fan. He started his coaching career with the Dorothy Hamill house league and from there moved to the Greenwich Panthers coaching his daughter for several years. He currently coaches youth hockey at Greenwich Skating Club and is an Assistant Varsity Coach
along with being in charge of player development for Greenwich High School.
COACH KEVIN STRAUB
Kevin Straub grew up in Meadville, PA and started playing hockey at age 6. He won the Pennsylvania AAA State Championship in back-to-back years as a junior and senior at Meadville High School. He went on to captain the Lehigh University D1 Club team and played several semi-pro games for the Danbury Stars (NEHL) and Hudson Valley Bears (EPHL). He began coaching at Greenwich Skating Club in 2018 and has coached all levels from Mites to Bantams. He is currently the Head Junior Varsity Coach and Assistant Varsity Coach for Greenwich High School.
